These are more technically slanted. You will learn about the properties of paper, bookcloth and board. Through practical exercises you'll find out how best to handle them and where to source materials and tools. You will learn to make a range of different book structures and I provide easy to follow worksheets to take home. You will benefit from one to one attention as the class sizes are small and all materials are sourced carefully to ensure beautiful results. It is a very intensive but thoroughly enjoyable workshops. Participants leave with a stack of handmade books and a smile.
I have a range of workshops on offer including pop up and paper engineering. I am happy to deign workshops to suit a specific project or theme.
